Surviving Your Child's Adolescence essential for parents of teenagers/twenty-somethings

This book is an excellent guide to being around early teenagers to twenty-somethings. The writing style is explicit and clever. Clearly Dr. Pickhardt speaks from the voice of experience. I have recommended this book to friends who have teenagers and also my church. It is really is a comprehensive, practice guide.

Having a teen daughter and family who constantly interfere and armchair quarterback, this book was informative and a confirmation that I am doing the right things as a parent. It explains where the behavior is coming from and reasons forit so you get some perspective. A must read. I also found "get out of mylife but first can you drive me and cheryl to the mall?" Helpful
